BIBLE STUDY TOOLS
One of our world's biggest problems is Christians not living out God's word, mostly because we don't know exactly what it says. We get told the Bible is too hard to understand or get intimidated by the different styles of writing. I have a secret for you, though, well, not really a secret, but a scoop-- the Bible is God's love letter of mercy and redemption from beginning to end. Jesus quotes Deuteronomy when he says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD" (CITE). If we are only living on bread, we're only half alive according to Jesus!
I've read the Bible 3 times and am working on the next round. Let me tell you, if I can read it ANYONE CAN! Would you start giving God at least 5 minutes a day? After 6 months we'll work up to 10 minutes, and in year two you'll read (or listen) to your Bible for 10-15 minutes a day. In two years you'll also have read it cover to cover! And then you can do it again. Below are the resources to make that happen. :)

Through In Two: Year One
p.s. You don't have to start in January-- just go one day at a time. I'm working on a new PDF marking off the days of the year.
