ABOUT BE BLESSED PRAYER
In November 2014 I found the Lord challenging me to put my faith into words, requiring me to ask, do I really believe in God? Is God really all He says in the Bible? Thus began a deeper journey with Christ through writing and drawing.
My grandmother prayed Numbers 6:24-26 ("May the LORD...") as my bedtime prayer when I visited her. The words always gave me comfort. A prayer of blessing and legacy seemed only fitting to name this faith journey and hopefully bless others. And so came to be the name for this adventure, Be Blessed Prayer.
Psalm 67:1-2 seemed to better fit the mission of Be Blessed Prayer, than the Numbers verse, yet, it was all part of God's provision. It's a prayer of blessing and redemption. I feel God picked the name of this blog, before I even knew these verses existed, so that we might all be blessed and His way would be made known on earth.

Hi! I'm Sarah. My life is a not-quite-there-yet-but-working-on-it song of praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a good work in progress wife, mom, daughter, friend, and child of God, see Philippians 1:6, and that gives me hope. In Christ, you are, too, and I hope that gives you hope, too.
The beginning, as all beginnings are, was awkward. Over the years, though, I've spent a ton of time in God's word through art (and there's always something to learn) and I've come to really enjoy my time with the Lord using the creativity he's given me. I'm finishing reading the Bible cover to cover for the 3rd time at the close of 2025.
Adding beauty to my time with God helps me me contemplate God's Word even deeper, and over time it's become prettier. I want to share what I've learned with you and help you build Biblical, beautiful Christian discipleship in your own life and help you disciple others.
I hope you enjoy walking with me as a prayer partner. In all things here at Be Blessed Prayer, I pray that God--God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, will be glorified through what you see and read.

About the Coloring Pages and Art
All of the artwork (i.e. coloring pages, scripture art, Christian art) is created and edited by me, Sarah, using mixed media-- watercolor, watercolor brush markers, photography, digital media, etc. I also do all the lettering myself, though I did create a font to help me letter faster. I choose not to use Artificial Intelligence in any of my work neither helping in concept or completion.
