What endeavor has the Lord led you to recently—to start something, renew something, or put something on pause?
This year, nine years after stepping away, I returned to the high-school science classroom for my seventh year of teaching. It was exciting and scary. I’d missed formally teaching students. Yet, I was worried it had been too long and I'd lost my skills. Though this year had ups and downs, I thought over and over again, "I love my job. Jesus thank you for bringing me here." This year the Lord returned to me a purposing that he’d asked me to shelve in order to more fully invest in my kids. I paused teaching while frustrated with God at the beginning. Yet, it was clear that the pausing on teaching was part of God's will, so I ultimately submitted. I’ve learned, through this and other experiences, God often returns what he’s asked me to give him in a manner even better than what I gave. I now teach part-time at a Christian classical school. Through my job I get to purposefully disciple my students and point them to God while teaching them intro physics and chemistry. As an unexpected gift from God, I also get to do short speeches of encouragement to our student body about scripture. Again, I love it. Someone wants me to speak about Jesus on purpose? Sign me up. I’d love to one day speak for Jesus professionally. However, right now God's giving me a training ground in which to be useful now and prepare for tomorrow. I spoke five times this year. Two talks were good. Three were mediocre. Each time I learned about God's word and how to share it. Next year I will speak even better for him and to his glory. Be Blessed Prayer restarts some good endeavors this year, too. I updated the website, started selling meditative scripture coloring pages (with written meditations coming soon), and am growing the business by intentional emails and social media. Whenever we’re starting, restarting, or pausing an endeavor there will undoubtedly be challenges, so we need to be ready to walk with the Lord through it. We can go where the Lord leads us, but we shouldn't go anywhere without his lead. And if he isn't leading? We can stay where we are and do the work he's assigned to us for today. I don’t know in what area of your life the Lord is working in you. God may be leading you to do something new. He may be restarting an old skill. He may be asking you to trust him to put something on pause for your best and the glory of his name. Yet, if he leads us to it, he will lead us through it for our good and his glory. Keep going in the Lord Jesus Christ. His is a good way! To God be the glory, Sarah

Have you ever bought into the lies of the deceiver, Satan, and thought that you weren't good enough? Have you ever wondered if what you did and or said had value? Have you walked down the dark mental thought path and wondered if you have value? I have, and I've come out the other side in hope through God's truth. Today I'm here to say that you do have value and you are loved, but there's more, so keep reading.
Writing these questions and revealing my thoughts for you to read fills my heart with such sadness because I know I'm not alone in having these false thoughts. I want to share with you the hopeful truth of who you are through Jesus Christ, the truth to which I know and cling when an identity crisis occurs. I started this blog because of my children. I want them to know the legacy they have from their Heavenly Father, through their Savior, Jesus Christ, guided by their counselor, the Holy Spirit. I want to remind you or tell you if you don't know, as a believer in Jesus Christ you are a child of God and share with you what that means. If you're not a believer, yet, I want to share with you the hope you can have. Who Jesus says you and I are is the final word. He is the word of God made flesh (see John chapter 1) and he tells us who we are. Our doubts about self-worth are mind-trash that separate us receiving the love of Jesus Christ. Through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection we are children of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. If you don't believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, he still loves you, but can't be in relationship with you due to the barrier of sin. Jesus Christ, God the Son, showed his love for us was so much, though, that he took on our sin at the cross so that we could be restored to him. If you're not a believer, while God's love for you is real, his promises don't apply, yet, because your relationship with God hasn't been restored. Read Faith 101: Is My Name Child of God? first and then come back to this post. The Holy Spirit whispers to the hearts of the lost and speaks to those who have been found through faith in Jesus. Jesus calls to us. Through His Word, the Bible, Jesus says, "I say you have value. Here's who I say you are through faith in me..." IN JESUS I AM: UNIQUELY CREATED (Psalm 139: 13-15 NIV) For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED (Romans 8:38-39 NIV) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. NEVER ALONE (Matthew 28:20 NIV) Jesus said, “…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” FORGIVEN (I Corinthians 15:2-3 NIV) By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures REDEEMED (Ephesians 1: 7-10 ESV) In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ READY AND ARMED WITH TRUTH (Ephesians 6:10-18 NIV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. To God be the glory, Sarah Will you join me in prayer? LORD Jesus, help me to believe your truth because I have value, I am special, and I am loved by You, You died to take away my sin and rose from the dead giving me new life. Give me the strength and tools to fight the evil one and stand firmly in your promises and Word. YOU ALONE ARE GOD and who I am in You is the final word. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Reflection: Do you believe that through faith in Jesus the above scripture verses are about you? If so, how does that change your today, tomorrow, and your life? If not, what lies are you allowing to dwell as truth in your life? Do you embrace your name, Child of God, and the identity that comes with it? Faith-In-Action: Choose one identity trait of a child of God. Read the verses every day for 3 days and pray that the Lord would help you see yourself through His eyes. In the car my family and I listen to Christian radio (A.K.A. Jesus music) and books on tape. We also enjoy each other's conversation. I'm from Houston, Texas, USA and am thankful for the Christian radio station KSBJ which I share with you.
I grew up listening to it and my kids love it, too. It warms my heart when they tell me, "Oh, this one's my favorite!" or encourage the other by saying, "Brother, this is the song you LOVE!" I share this because the ministry that I hear happening at KSBJ is Jesus-centered and Good-News-sharing. Check it out if you're in the Houston area (89.3 FM) or anywhere in the world online at www.KSBJ.org. They also have an app! I don't get any sponsorship or money from them. I just think they might encourage you on your faith walk. While I don't always agree with 100% of what they say, I have yet to find the person/ organization I do, I find it to be a good and trustworthy ministry. After all, reading our Bibles and prayerfully discern through all the messages we hear is our responsibility in Christ. I think we can encourage one another in Christ even through our differences. One thing I love about this ministry is that it doesn't have commercials. It's listener supported and they do a once a year big fundraiser for several days and then it's all music or radio-shows all the time, with some nods to sponsors. The focus on the ministry through the music makes a big difference in my opinion. To God be the glory, Sarah Originally written 2016, Updated June 2022 I didn't start listening to Christian music when I was young in the faith, but I wish I had. I enjoy listening to Christian music, especially when the songs are based on scripture and reinforce the word of God, because through music I can learn scripture or get encouraged in a different medium than the written word.
Often I find the Lord nudges my heart through the Christian music I know towards repentance, faith, and trusting him. If you're new to Christian music I wanted to share some of my favorite songs (and singers). Of course I can't recommend every song and album anyone has ever done, but you'll learn to filter and this gives you a start. I'll note there are no Christian hymns on here. I love the hymns. Seems like I need to make another list. Some of my favorite more modern Christian songs are:
I don't link to the songs to respect copyright integrity. You can check out the artist's official page or album. They're worth the listen. To God be the glory, Sarah A lot of time I hear the words thrown out that we are all God's children... but is this true? What does the Bible tell us?
The Bible says we're either God's children through faith in Jesus Christ, God the Son, or we're his enemies in rebellion against him. These are two very different relationships we can have with God, the creator of the universe. God DOES NOT WANT us to be his enemies, so he intervened so we can have relationship with him. On our own we are not OK. Most of us know this, but some are in denial. We do things we know are wrong and can't figure out how to stop! The Bible calls our problem, our not-rightness--sin. It's our nature to often choose what is wrong over what is right-- to choose what is easy or good for us only. We can't fix our sin problem on our own. We need God, who is sinless, to save us. If you are not a follower of Jesus I want to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with you. If you believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, be encouraged--this is the Good News that has already saved you! In this sin filled world we are separated from God on our own. Our attempts to be good are never enough to match God's holiness (perfect goodness through which He is set apart). However, to bring us back to relationship with himself God the Father sent Jesus Christ, God the Son, to redeem us. Jesus is fully God and fully human. What a mystery! He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead by God the Father (Romans 3:22-29). Through faith in Jesus we have access to God the Father. When we repent of our sins and believe Jesus is our risen Lord and Savior, he sends the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts, sealing us for the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 4:13). Though these references are true-- I invite you to meet Jesus through the biographies of his life as told in the Bible in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John (also known as the Gospels). We don’t come to faith on our own. Out of God’s grace he gives us the gift of faith so no one can think they had a part in their salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). Though God calls all his children to him we do have the choice to reject the Lord. If you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ or if you feel distant but want to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior then pray to him. If you don't know what to pray it might sound something like this: Jesus, I have done bad things in my life and sinned against you. I need your forgiveness. Please forgive me. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins (the bad things) and rose again. You defeated both sin and death. Jesus, I believe you are my Savior and I want you to be the Lord of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. Since before you were born the Lord God has been wanting you to know him personally. He calls us to him and walks with us in our faith journey. If you're a believer who feels disconnected or have recently taken the name Child of God I encourage you to get connected in a church near you that emphasizes teaching from the Bible and confesses that Jesus is the risen Lord who defeated sin and death. Jesus as the Son of God, brings us into God's holy family through our faith in Him as Lord and Savior (Galatians 3: 26, Romans 8: 11-17). In Christ we are legitimate heirs with all the rights of a son or daughter (Galatians 4: 3-7). Instead of seeing our sin, God sees us clothed in Jesus' righteousness. If you believe in Jesus as Lord your name is Child of God. I pray Be Blessed Prayer helps you remember your identity and inheritance. If You're not sure what it looks like to be called Child of God in your life and how that affects your identity I encourage you to check out Identity Restored: Child of God. To God be the glory, Sarah Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12 NIV The beginning of a new year, is the time for resolutions. I'd decided to make my "resolution" a little differently so as not to immediately abandon it. My real resolution, was to be intentional, especially in my relationship with the Lord and how I lived out my faith in Him.
One of the most important parts of our faith walk is our prayer life. So in an effort to be intentional about my relationship with Jesus that's where I started. Like any relationship, the frequency, depth, and attention devoted to our conversations with God directly affects our relationship with Him. The more frequently we pray then the deeper and more personal our prayers become and with it our attention to both our requests and His answers increase. The small step I took to improve my prayer life was starting a prayer journal. I knew that with persistence my prayer life would improve as will my attention to His presence. In the past I got overwhelmed at the need for prayer in every aspect of life (self, friends, community, world...), tapered off, stopped prayer journaling, and stopped intentionally praying ... This time was different. I wanted my prayer time to be special, a time set apart. Prayer Partner, I don't want to discourage you from praying before bed or doing prayer bursts throughout your day. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) but we are also instructed to sit with and spend time with the Lord (Matthew 6:6). I started small: I used the PRAY acronym from KSBJ, a Christian radio station here in Houston, TX. P-praise, R-repent, A-ask, Y-yield. I bought a planner with room for daily scheduling, limited of course, but I write out P R A Y vertically and fill it out for the day in the morning. I write out my praises, my repentance, my needs and wants (ask), and a yield statement. Example: Today's Date P: (Today's praises) R: (Ways I know I've sinned and repent for. If you don't want a hard copy here, just spend some time in self-examination and repentant prayer.) A: (Wants and needs) Y: (Yield Statement--e.g. Lord I yield to your will and goodness. In Jesus' name, amen.) As I write it out I pray over each item. I'm not sure you'd find anything inspired in my prayer for today, but I started my day with Christ and focused, a least for 10 minutes, on just the Lord. How is your prayer life, Child of God? Are you intentionally praying? While I edit this post I realize I don't do this daily any more, a reminder to start again... or to do something more simple on the days I don't take as much time in intentional prayer. Even if we fail to pray deeply every day, if we make prayer a routine part of our life I wonder how much more we'll recognize the Lord's hand in everything. During our prayer time we can remember how desperately we need Christ's forgiveness, how thankful we are for all the big and little things in our lives, and how ultimately everything is in the Lord's hands. Let me know how your life changes and I'll keep you updated on my journey. * Report 1 year later: Though I like the ideas I wrote, I don't always hold to them, the PRAY model, anyway. I keep it posted in case it helps you start a new discipline of prayer. Now, after using the PRAY model for months I keep a prayer journal by turning a daily planner to write down the prayer requests of that & the previous day. It's not a structured prayer, just a list of people & requests to pray over. I tend to put names & the subject matter, if it's really sensitive sometimes just the prayer, no names. God knows who it is. I write this to encourage you to just pray! It'll become a habit and you'll see the Lord answer in remarkable ways. To God be the glory, Sarah Will you join me in prayer? Dear Lord, you know me completely. I want to know you. Give me endurance to be faithful in my prayer life. Let our time together fill the gaps in my heart and overflow to my interactions with others so that praying becomes as natural as breathing. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. Reflection: If you keep a prayer journal: How has keeping a prayer journal affected my faith walk with the Lord? If you don't keep a prayer journal: Could the practice of writing out my prayers help me focus my prayers and help see God's hand in my life? Faith-In-Action: Carve out at least 10 minutes in your day for 3 days to practice the P-R-A-Y (or some other) type of prayer journaling. How does it affect your faith walk? If you have a prayer journal also go back and look at former prayers and think about how the Lord answered your requests. Copyright Jan 2016, Be Blessed Prayer. All rights reserved. This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 (New King James Version) Did you wake up this morning with a smile on your face, excited to start the day? All to often I used to wake up like a grump. "Morning person" is not a descriptor anyone who knows me would choose to use. It's hard for me to really engage until I am out of my fog.
However, awhile back I heard something that changed the beginning of my days. Someone on the radio described how they greeted each morning with a prayer thanking the Lord for the opportunity of that day. They thanked the Lord for their blessings and then got the day started with joy in their heart. What would your day look like if it started in praise? I really like this verse and I woke up with it in my heart, so I wanted to share. I pray as I'm rousing from my deep slumber and often pray in between hitting the snooze button. When I wake up I thank God for that day, even on the days during those rough seasons of life. Though they're not fully thought-out prayers they start my daily conversation with the Lord first thing. Remembering that He holds my day helps me deal with whatever the day brings. Though I'm still groggy in the morning I try not to be such a grump. (I'm still human so I still have those not-so-pretty mornings, but they're less frequent.) I remember that since I'm still breathing and my heart is still beating then the Lord has purpose for my day, and it is a good day in Him. My days have ups and downs, but when they start in Christ I can handle anything (Philippians 4:13). Praise be to God! To God be the glory, Sarah Would you join me in prayer? Jesus, give me an attitude of gratitude today and every day for the blessings in my life. When I have trouble seeing the goodness you've given me please open my heart to see Your gifts. When I have trouble naming any other blessing remind me that I am forgiven for my sin and brought close to You. You loved me so much You died for me, freed me, and offer relationship with You. You are Lord, giver of Life. In Jesus name I pray, amen Reflection: How do I greet the day, and the Lord, when I rise each morning? Faith-In-Action: Say a prayer of thanksgiving for something in your life to the Lord right now. Make a point of remembering that blessing when your day dips into a less than ideal moment and give thanks again. How does it affect your day? I wasn’t prepared for some of the heart-dropping plunges of doubt and fear that hit me as I lived out my faith in Jesus, my Savior. Attempting to actively live my life in Christ I felt and saw God at work in my life. I had a need and the Lord would answer it. It was amazing-- like something straight out of the Bible. And then the doubt came… Doubt. Followed by fear. They were expertly targeted, extremely effective flaming arrows from the devil that hit their marks in my heart. Fighting faith crippling doubt accompanied by fear wasn't a first-time experience for me, but I this time wasn’t prepared. I didn’t have my shield raised. Using people, situations, and challenges in my life, Satan can stir the doubt pot and I start asking myself: "Am I sure God can be trusted?" "Am I sure Jesus is really the only way to heaven?" “Can God really keep me safe?” I start asking the questions to which I know the answers, but they rattle my trust in God at my core. We need to remember our Bible when our doubt arises. The Apostle Paul tells us that the devil is purposefully targeting us to mess with our lives. In Ephesians 6:16, the Apostle Paul reminds us, "In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one." (Ephesians 6:16 ESV). Satan’s flaming arrows will dig deep, hurt, and burn if we aren’t deflecting them with our shield of faith, the Lord’s fire extinguisher. Sometimes such arrows manifest as faith-challenging doubt, paralyzing fear, or isolating distrust. What flaming arrows are you trying to deflect in your life, Prayer Partner? Are flaming arrows hitting their mark, embedding and setting your life on fire OR are you firmly holding your shield of faith and watching the Lord extinguish Satan’s attempts to disable you? Though Satan’s arrows of doubt, fear, and distrust may darken our sky, in His Word, God tells us our defense is the shield of faith that He alone gives us. Faith is a gift of God (Ephesians 2:8), given to us to bring us into relationship with God and shield us during spiritual attack. To strengthen my faith during a low time I continue to practice it even when it’s challenged. I practice my faith by humbling my heart in repentance and praying through the Bible. God’s Word applies personally to me and to you. Praying the Word of God, using Scripture as a personal petition, can be very effective in deflecting Satan’s arrows and renewing my faith in Jesus. If you feel the onslaught of Satan’s flaming falsehoods: fear, doubt, and distrust, make the Bible personal. I encourage you to pray Psalm 91 (about being under attack) or Psalm 23 (about God’s love and providing) within the next 24 hours. I don’t know how, but the Lord will answer you, possibly giving your heart His peace if He doesn't answer otherwise. I encourage you to open your eyes and heart to discern how He answers you when you pray. As believers in Jesus, through His forgiveness on the cross and resurrection from the dead, we are His shield bearers and armor wearers. We can trust the Lord’s promises of covering and protection. We can trust in the God of our salvation! I encourage you to remain in your faith in Jesus Christ when the physical, emotional, and spiritual battle is most intense. Fight fire with faith. Practice your faith, raise your shield, and smell the smoke as Satan’s arrows are each extinguished by the one true God. To God be the glory, Sarah Would you pray with me? Dear Lord, when the flaming arrows shoot my way please strengthen my faith and shield me. I know You are faithful. In Jesus Christ I trust as Lord and Savior. In Jesus Christ's name I pray, amen. By Kristi, a dear friend and guest-writer
The guilt started as we drove home in the dark after a “not so silent night” at my parents Christmas Eve service. Much of motherhood, especially the preschool years, must be met with humor and a lot of patience. This night was no exception. During the Children’s Message (in which all of the kids in the church service were invited upfront), my boys and their partner-in-crime cousin thought it would be a good idea to have a wrestling match. As the pastor closed in prayer our boys were piled one on top of each other like a triple stack at IHOP. Then, at one point during the service I looked around and was alone on the back pew, save for my sleeping 3-month-old in her carrier. The other 9 people in my extended family were in the foyer due to poor behavior! Surprisingly I was not bothered by these chaotic events – it just typifies the season of life that we are in. However, as we drove home that night the mental barrage began: “Once again, another Christmas season has come and gone and I have not claimed the real meaning of Christmas for my family. The Advent wreath underutilized; the Jesse Tree made but not experienced; so many great ideas that never happened. When will I get it right? When will baby Jesus not get lost in the to do lists, the presents to wrap, the Christmas cards to address, the out of town packing?” As this mom guilt was heaped upon my shoulders, all of a sudden it hit me. A silent nudge from God. “What about the rest of the year?” What if I did everything “just right” during the holidays but Jesus was not celebrated the other 11 months of the year? I can surely seize more moments next Christmas season, but if that is the only time of the year that baby Jesus – King Jesus – is lifted up in our house, then something is clearly wrong. What does my everyday life speak to my kids about Jesus? About His love, His patience, His grace and forgiveness. How does discipline in our home bring them to a better understanding of the true reason why He had to come as a baby? How does the joy that I exhibit through trials or suffering demonstrate the power of a living God inside of me? What if Christmas is not like a firecracker that flashes in the sky and fades as quickly as it appeared? What if Christmas is the culmination of this growing crescendo throughout the whole year? This would give greater texture and veracity of the Truth of the Christmas story for our kids. They would know that it is real, not because the calendar says so, but because of a well lived (absolutely not perfect!) life before them. So, for those like me who are burdened by the guilt of “I didn’t do this right… somehow, I missed it again this year…”, let’s throw off the lie that the enemy is feeding us. Christmas is not a once a year celebration! One that we either “got right” or “missed the boat…again!”. The story of Christmas is for every day. Every day I mess up, fall short, and indulge in the selfishness of sin. Every day I am in need of a Savior, a baby Jesus, to come and make things right, to make me new again. Every day I can be part of His redemptive story, living out the Truth before my kids in such an attractive way that they can’t help but notice what’s up with their crazy mom. So, let’s seek Him in the “not so silent” moments of our chaotic lives. And even if we seem to have “missed it” this Christmas, we always have today! As you finish this, reflect on the verses of Romans 8: 1-5 (World English Bible) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. Kristi is one of my great friends. I'm blessed to know her over ten years, which is a true gift from God! One of the first things I noticed about Kristi was her joy, which I soon learned comes from her faith in Jesus. I once asked her how she was always happy and she responded, "how else would I be?" She's a devoted wife, mother, and friend with a heart for global Christian partnership and discipleship. I'm excited to welcome her as a guest writer to Be Blessed Prayer. To God be the glory, Sarah Copyright January 2018, Kristi G., All rights reserved. Posted on Be Blessed Prayer with permission. I keep seeing this slogan, "empowered women empower women." It's a catchy slogan, but is it Christ-centered? I meditated on the question, what does it mean to be empowered by the Lord Jesus Christ? I had to ask myself, does my life reflect the Living God's empowerment? As I meditated on the empowerment of Jesus it struck me that empowerment through the Holy Spirit living in me may look very different than the empowerment the world seeks. The empowerment of the Holy Spirit is different things at different times. Yet, empowerment in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit is always good. Sometimes empowerment in Jesus Christ is:
Empowered women-in-Christ do empower other women. Empowered women-in-Christ empower other women to be the women that God created them to be, through the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ. Empowered women-in-Christ also empower men to be the men than God created them to be, through the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ. Empowered disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are servants of the Living God. Through his leading in our lives he makes the world better. Through his empowerment we get to see the change, little by little, to his glory, one Holy Spirit empowerment at a time. What does empowerment in Christ look like for you? To God be the glory, Sarah But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
